Jack Raper Industrial Supply, Inc is a family owned business established in 1979 by Jack Raper. The company celebrated its 25th year of business in October of 2004. Jack is now retired and two of his children, Mike Raper and Jill Raper- Marshman now own and operate the company. Both have been involved in the family business for most of its years of operation. Mike and Jill both became full-time employees after receiving their college educations; Mike starting in 1982 and Jill in 1986. Our inside sales staff have been employed with us for over 20 years as well. They are more than just order takers. They can help provide technical solutions to your problems. We are located in Anderson, Indiana but have very a large customer base. Our service area includes customers across the country and in Mexico. We currently communicate with several of these customers through the internet. Some of these customers include Northstar Aerospace, Remy-International, Dana-Spicer Division,GM-Metal Fabrication Division, Borg-Warner and Delphi Ignitions Systems. We provide direct service to these companies as well as to their integrated providers. Our outside and inside staff are very technically capable of supporting the ever-changing technologies being introduced to this extremely competitive manufacturing market. Jack Raper Industrial Supply has also been involved in many different aspects of the integrated supply chain. In the past we have serviced the Delphi Ignition plant in Anderson, Indiana, as their sole commodity manager of production cutting tools, abrasive products, and mill supplies. Some blueprint tooling is incorporated in the contract as well. This entails managing and maintaining daily inventories as well as providing technical support for the products we are providing. The inventory management is done through an internet-based system called Dataware. We also maintained and managed inventory of a complete transfer line for New Venture Gear. Our newest commodity management role is with Northstar Aerospace. Along with maintaining and managing their daily inventories through a windows-based vending system, we help provide technical support. These are just some of the larger companies we maintain and have maintained partnerships. We also have partnerships with many small to mid-range size companies as well. We also participate with our competitors as a tier 2 supplier. We provide product along with technical support. We are a very flexible company who is willing to work with our customer in whatever way best serves their needs.
